I’m internationally certified (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers, an independent organization established to promote high standards of knowledge, ethics and experience in the professional dog training community.
Science-Based & Humane
My training methods are based on a scientific understanding of how animals learn—in particular, science has proven that animals learn best when free of pain, fear and coercion. I employ positive techniques proven to increase the animal’s confidence, improve the bond between pet and owner, and provide long lasting behavioral improvements.
In addition to training plans, I work with my clients to create management plans, designed to decrease stress for pet and human alike, through changes in diet, environment, routine and health.
I’m dedicated to helping pets AND the people who love them. That’s why I’ve spent years developing a toolbox of teaching methods to help my human clients, utilizing verbal explanations, written handouts, visual demonstrations and guided practice. I provide detailed instructions and follow ups, and I’m readily accessible to all my clients via phone, email and Skype.
